FCCRA Superintendent’s Report – AUGUST 2022 Since the last report there were no incidents reported to the office. Several campers are going to be contacted
The Fulton County Camping & Recreation Area is made up of 440 acres which includes approximately 150 acres of water. The major lakes are managed by IDNR and are restocked yearly with channel catfish and largemouth bass.
Shower house is open from early May and closes November 1st of each year. Weather will impact open and close dates.
4x4 vehicles recommended for access
Electric and Primitive sites
Public Access docks & areas for bank fishing
Trash cans are scattered about the campground. An 8 yard dumpster is located by the sanitary dump station.
